Zambian artist Chile One Mr. Zambia has been gifted a high-cost plot by the Chililabombwe Municipal Council Lucky Sichone as a token of appreciation for his music exploits.
Chile One was presented with the land documents by the Chililabombwe Mayor.
Mr. Sichone says the plot which is located in Kamenza East is meant to empower the artist and motivate others in the district to work hard.
He says the district remains committed to growing the art industry by ensuring that it creates a safe environment for young people to thrive.
Meanwhile, Chile One has urged government to continue supporting the arts industry in the district further calling for the establishment of an institution that can help capture and nurture the district’s talent.
Chile One was among several Diamond TV Personality Of The Year Awards (POTYAS) winners at the event held at the Taj Pamodzi Hotel in October this year.
