New Music Alert: Drifta Trek Ft. Frank Ro & Nez Long Drop Massive 2026 Anthem “Bally Balange”
The intersection of Zambian music and politics has just received a massive boost. As the political climate begins to heat up ahead of the 2026 general elections, hitmakers Drifta Trek, Frank Ro, and Nez Long have officially dropped what is poised to be the ultimate UPND campaign anthem: “Bally Balange.”Dedicated to President Hakainde Hichilema (HH) and the United Party for National Development (UPND) movement, this track is more than just a song—it’s a mobilization tool wrapped in an infectious beat.
In Zambian slang, “Bally” has become a term of endearment and respect, largely adopted by HH’s supporters to refer to the President as the father figure of the nation. “Bally Balange” serves as a bold declaration of support for HH’s 2026 re-election bid.The lyrics celebrate the UPND’s developmental agenda, urging Zambians to “let them see” (balange) the progress and to stand firmly behind the current leadership. The artists seamlessly blend political messaging with relatable, everyday struggles and aspirations, making the song resonate with the common man. It’s motivational, upbeat, and unapologetically pro-UPND.
