THE NAMES OF SHORTLISTED CANDIDATES TO BE PUBLISHED TO DAY
DEAR COUNTRYMEN AND WOMEN,
THE MINISTRY OF DEFENCE THROUGH THE ZAMBIA ARMY, ZAMBIA AIR FORCE AND ZAMBIA NATIONAL SERVICE ADVERTISED FOR THE RECRUITMENT OF MILITARY PERSONNEL. FOLLOWING THE ADVERT, THE PUBLIC MAY WISH TO KNOW THAT THE RESPONSE WAS OVER WHELMING. THEREFORE, IT REQUIRED THE SERVICES TO DO A THOROUGH JOB. THE JOB HAS BEEN DONE, THEREFORE, I WISH TO INFORM THE GENERAL PUBLIC THAT, THE LONG AWAITED RECRUITMENT EXERCISE IN THE DEFENCE FORCE IS NOW READY TO START.
AS YOU MAY BE AWARE, THE EXERCISE STARTED IN NOVEMBER LAST YEAR WITH THE SCRUTINIZING AND ANALYZING OF NAMES AGAINST THEIR ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS. THE TOTAL NUMBER OF APPLICANTS FROM ALL THE TEN PROVINCES WAS TWO HUNDREDS THIRTY SIX THOUSAND (236,000) OUT OF WHICH WE WERE TO SHORTLIST FIVE THOUSAND (5,000). THIS HAS BEEN A TEDIOUS AND VIGOROUS PROCESS AND FOR THAT I WOULD LIKE TO THANK OUR YOUTHS FOR THEIR PATIENCE AMIDST A LOT OF ANXIETY AND PSYCHOLOGICAL STRESS. THE MINISTRY WANTED TO ENSURE THAT THE FIRST PHASE PROCESS OF SHORTLISTING IS SYSTEMATICALLY AND PROFESSIONALLY DONE.
COUNTRYMEN, LADIES AND GENTLEMEN,
WE ARE NOW TRANSITING INTO PHASE TWO WHICH IS THE PUBLICATION OF NAMES AND SUBSEQUENT RELEASE OF SHORTLISTED INDIVIDUALS IN THE PRINT MEDIA. THE NAMES OF SHORTLISTED CANDIDATES WILL BE PUBLISHED
IN THE TIMES OF ZAMBIA AND DAILY MAIL ON MONDAY 12TH WEDNESDAY, AND FRIDAY 16TH JUNE, 2023. THE SAME WILL BE PUBLISHED ON THE MINISTRY OF DEFENCE, ARMY, ZAF AND ZNS WEBSITES. THE SHORTLISTED CANDIDATES ARE EXPECTED TO REPORT TO THE PROVINCIAL CENTRES ON SUNDAY 18TH JUNE, 2023. ONCE AGAIN, ALLOW ME TO URGE OUR YOUTHS TO EXHIBIT THE SAME PATIENCE AND ATTITUDE THEY SHOWED DURING PHASE ONE SO THAT THE PROCESS CAN RUN SMOOTHLY.
THE THIRD PHASE WILL BE SHORTLISTING AND PUBLICATION OF SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATES AFTER VARIOUS STAGES OF THE INTERVIEW PROCESS THAT IS, MEDICAL, PHYSICAL EXAMS AND APTITUDE TESTS. Names will be available here on PDF AT 13HRS
