KAWAMBWA MODERN BUS STATION TAKING SHAPE!
The dream of a modern bus station in Kawambwa is steadily becoming a reality. Through the Devolution Support Program, construction works are progressing well, bringing excitement and hope to residents who for years have longed for a better and safer transport hub.
Being implemented by the Kawambwa Town Council and funded by the World Bank sector grant, the project is being undertaken by Elichil General Dealers at a total cost of K2,497,973.41.
Once completed, the modern bus station will not only change the face of Kawambwa but also improve public transport efficiency, create business opportunities, and enhance passenger comfort and safety. For traders, commuters, and travelers, this is more than just a structure, it is a gateway to better connectivity and economic growth.
Kawambwa is on the move, and the community is eager to see this long-awaited project reach completion.
To ensure quality works are carried out, Kawambwa Town Council Secretary Mr. Bwali Andrew, together with other council officers, visited the construction site to monitor progress and offer guidance.
