Title: Trick Guy Tells Haters to “Lekela Balombenyoko” in Hilarious New Street Anthem
If there is one artist in Zambia who knows exactly how to translate street slang into a hit record, it’s Trick Guy. He is back and making noise once again with his brand new single, “Lekela Balombenyoko.”
For those who might need a quick lesson in local street linguistics, “Lekela Balombenyoko” is the ultimate cheeky brush-off. It’s that humorous, slightly disrespectful, but highly effective phrase you use when someone is hating on your progress, poking their nose in your business, or just being a nuisance—essentially telling them to go focus on their own mother’s people (or their own backyard).
