Yo Maps, Diamond Platinumz cooking up musical masterpiece

THE much anticipated collaboration between Zambian musical heavyweight Yo Map’s and Tanzanian music sensation Diamond Platnumz has officially been confirmed following the duo’s electrifying joint performance at a private wedding in Lusaka.

The collaboration is believed to send shockwaves through the African music scene with fans eagerly awaiting the release of the sure-to-be unforgettable musical collaboration.

According to a statement issued by Yo Maps’s manager, Evans Nsongela, AKA DJ Kandeke, the collaboration between Naseeb Abdul Juma Issack (Diamond) and Elton Mulenga ( Yo Maps) has been in the works even before their performances Jimmy Karabassis, and Kadi Ndiaye, wedding this past weekend.

Kandeke noted that the fans have been a driving force behind this collaboration.

“We have heard your requests loud and clear and we are grateful for your unwavering support. This collaboration is a direct result of your enthusiasm and dedication, and we are thrilled to be delivering on your wish,” he said.

“Discussions between Diamond’s team and ours were already in motion even before the wedding and we are delighted to announce that we are now full steam ahead with this collaboration,” Kandeke noted.

“As the Bible says, ‘To everything there is a season and a time for every purpose under heaven’, and we believe that this is the perfect time for this collaboration to happen.”
